Enjoy some drives through 1980s Toronto with tunes from local Toronto jazz legends Guido Basso and Mike Malone.
The show was called
Night Ride
and there was only one episode. Two other shows called
Night Moves
and
Night Walk
were also produced - with a camera walking through downtown Toronto at night with a jazz soundtrack. All three shows aired in place of a test pattern on Global TV in Toronto, and were always rumoured to be quite popular with the incarcerated.

I like it! Very soothing, both the audio, and the visuals.

Yep it’s great for when you can’t sleep or are infected with rage.

You mean like the rage you get from seeing a car driving at night without its headlights on (3rd vid, @6:27)?

(Haha it’s a disease... I can’t even look at cars & coffee pics without noticing how the cars are parked. *twitches* But TBH, I didn’t watch each vid all the way through. I just skipped around and randomly happened to catch that one part.)
I wonder how these videos were filmed. The POV is kinda high up, and the movement sure looks handheld. I’m imagining a guy standing up through a sunroof with the camera on his shoulder.

Actually I know this one - Global used to have a fleet of Jeep Wranglers, and this was filmed by mounting the camera on the hood of the Jeep.
